In systems
which use a MITSUBISHI Electric MDS-D-SP-40 Spindle drive unit, the spindle
drive unit must be placed next to the power supply as shown in the connection
manuals. Each units generates some heat, so leave a space on the top and bottom
when installing other equipment or parts. The heating value for the spindle
drive unit for during continuous rated output (190W).

unit must be always connected to servo drive unit.
